DUO-REGEN® is a complete process that blends both chemistry and electrical High-Frequency for optimal results.

A simple explanation:

An increasing built-up of sulfation occurs when the battery is drained of energy. Sulfation is a normal reaction when re-loading or charging a battery. Part of the solid sulfate crystals turn into liquid. With age and saturation, lots of sulfate stratify and coat the plates in hard and dense layers resulting in suffocated batteries.

GOOD conductivity
UNSULFATED plate

Many charging devices including the better known Ultra-Fast Chargers (intelligent with IC Chips, computerized systems which regulate and tapered charge current) have their limitations.

The charge algorithm is fixed in advance and does not permit fine-tuning.

These methods of charging cause the premature failure of batteries. Sulfation inhibits the battery’s ability to receive and deliver power. When a sulfated battery is charged, it becomes hot, causing increased dehydration (it loses fluid by evaporation) which in turn causes the lead sulfate to re-depose again in hard and brittle particles, resulting in cell distortion, short-circuits, and eventually mechanical damage. The problem is especially apparent with electrical forklift-trucks due to the frequency of their daily charging cycles.
